The Nave high back lounge, designed by Canberra-based studio SKEEHAN, is an expression of nautical construction processes. The tubular steel frame provides the defining characteristic whilst also being an essential structural element. A juxtaposition to the steel frame is the upholstery detail featured on Nave. The backrest cushions of the lounge are fixed to the sling upholstery to the back, with the sling upholstery detail also evident on the armrests. This item is ex-showroom display and is showing minor signs of use.
